 The Aare-Musulumi of Ifon-Orolu Kingdom Engr. Prince Alhaji Isiaq Olajide OLARINDE (FNSE) wrote an open letter to the executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke and his cabinet members for quick intervention during the communal crisis between Ifon-Orolu Kingdom and Ilobu communities in the state.

The letter made available through Aare-Musulumi of Ifon-Orolu Kingdom Facebook page dated 9th day of October, 2023 he applauded the State Governor for his swift response and proactive measures to help the situation. The letter reads as below;

AN APPRECIATION LETTER TO THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF OSUN STATE AND HIS CABINET FOR QUICK INTERVENTION DURING THE COMMUNAL CRISIS BETWEEN IFON-OROLU KINGDOM AND ILOBU.

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to you and your esteemed cabinet for the prompt and effective intervention in resolving the recent communal crisis between Ifon-Orolu Kingdom, Ilobu and Olokanla communities in Osun State. 

As the Aare-Musulumi of Ifon-Orolu Kingdom, I have witnessed firsthand the devastating consequences of communal conflicts on the lives and livelihoods of our people. The tension and animosity that prevailed between the Ifon and Ilobu communities had reached a critical point, threatening to escalate into a full-blown crisis that could have caused irreparable damage. 

However, Your Excellency, your swift response and proactive measures demonstrated exceptional leadership and a genuine commitment to fostering peace and unity among the people of Osun State. Your intervention not only helped defuse the immediate tension but also paved the way for sustained dialogue and reconciliation between the warring factions. 

I would also like to extend my appreciation to your dedicated cabinet members who worked tirelessly to ensure the successful resolution of the crisis. Their unwavering support and collaboration played a pivotal role in bringing the parties together and promoting peaceful coexistence. 

Your Excellency, your administration's commitment to the welfare and security of the people of Osun State has been evident throughout your tenure. Your proactive approach, coupled with the implementation of various social and economic development programs, has undoubtedly contributed to the overall well-being of the state's residents. 

By swiftly intervening in the Ifon-Orolu Kingdom, Ilobu and Olokanla crisis, you have not only prevented further loss of life and property but have also demonstrated that peace and unity are essential for progress and growth. Your leadership exemplifies the qualities of a true statesman who places the interests of the people above all else. 

On behalf of the entire Ifon-Orolu Kingdom, I extend our deepest gratitude to you, Your Excellency, and your cabinet for your exceptional leadership, wisdom, and dedication to the well-being of the people of Osun State. We are confident that under your guidance, the state will continue to prosper and thrive. 

Once again, thank you for your prompt and effective intervention during the communal crisis. May you continue to lead with wisdom and compassion, and may peace and harmony prevail in Osun State.
