Your Imperial Majesty, distinguished members of the Olubadan in Council, the entire family of Ogidi-Areokuta, both at home and in the diaspora, esteemed families, friends and well-wishers, 


I Honorable Ajibola Isiak Adegoroye, SALAWU, the Mogagi of Ogidi-Areokuta  extend my deepest gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you. The auspicious occasion of my official installation as Mogagi Ogidi-Areokuta on Monday, the 20th day of November 2023, will forever be etched in my memories as a moment of immense honor and privilege. 


I'm profoundly grateful to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Sen. Moshood Olalekan Alli, the renowned Olubadan of Ibadan Land, for bestowing this prestigious title upon me Honorable Ajibola Isiak Adegoroye, SALAWU. Your keen discernment and wisdom in selecting me for this esteemed position demonstrate your faith in my abilities, character, and commitment to serving the people of Ogidi-Areokuta diligently. 


To the distinguished members of the Olubadan in Council, I express my gratitude for your support and guidance throughout this remarkable journey. Your collective wisdom and unwavering dedication to preserving our rich cultural heritage have been instrumental in shaping the destiny of our community. I pledge to work harmoniously with you, upholding the traditions and values of Ogidi-Areokuta, and contributing to its growth and prosperity. 


My appreciation also extends to the entire family of Ogidi-Areokuta, both near and far. Your love, encouragement, and unwavering belief in me Honorable Ajibola Isiak Adegoroye, SALAWU the Mogagi of Ogidi-Areokuta have been the pillars of strength that have propelled me towards this significant achievement. Your unwavering support and sacrifice have not gone unnoticed, and am forever grateful for your role in shaping his character and values. 


To the numerous families, friends, and well-wishers who graced the occasion with their esteemed presence, I extend my heartfelt appreciation. Your prayers, kind words, and warm wishes have touched my hearts and I reaffirmed my resolve to serve Ogidi-Areokuta with utmost dedication and integrity. Your encouragement and unwavering support inspire me to strive for excellence and make a positive impact in the lives of our people. 


As Mogagi Ogidi-Areokuta, Honorable Ajibola Isiak Adegoroye, Salawu am humbled and deeply honored by the trust placed in me. I recognizes the weight of the responsibilities that accompany this position and pledges to discharge my duties faithfully, always keeping the best interests of Ogidi-Areokuta at heart. With your continued support and prayers, I am confident that I will leave an indelible mark of progress, unity, and prosperity on our beloved community.
