The Aare-Musulumi of Ifon-Orolu Kingdom, Engr. Prince Alhaji ISIAQ Olajide OLARINDE (FNSE), expresses deep concern over the escalating tension between our neighbouring communities, Ilobu and Olokanla Town. He urges all parties involved to prioritize peace and dialogue in resolving the current dispute.

Conflict and tension within communities can lead to devastating consequences, including loss of lives, destruction of properties, and the disruption of peaceful coexistence. The Aare-Musulumi recognizes the importance of unity and harmony in fostering development and progress within our region.

Engr. Prince Alhaji Isiaq Olajide Olarinde (FNSE) appeals to the leaders and residents of both Ilobu and Olokanla Town to exercise restraint and engage in peaceful dialogue to address the underlying issues causing the tension. He emphasizes the need for open communication, understanding, and compromise to reach a mutually beneficial resolution.

The Aare-Musulumi also calls upon the relevant government agencies, security forces, and community leaders to play an active role in mediating the dispute and ensuring the safety and security of all residents. He urges them to deploy necessary resources to de-escalate the situation and prevent any further escalation of violence.

Furthermore, Engr. Prince Alhaji Isiaq Olajide Olarinde (FNSE) encourages the establishment of a joint committee comprising representatives from both Ilobu and Olokanla Town to facilitate peace talks and find a long-lasting solution. He offers his own support and assistance in mediating discussions and promoting understanding between the parties involved.

The Aare-Musulumi of Ifon-Orolu  Kingdom concludes by emphasizing that peace is a collective responsibility. He  calls for support and unity of all OROLUANS as we confront the situation and pray that the Almighty Allah guide and protect all Ifon indigenes and others. He urges all individuals and groups within our community to prioritize peaceful coexistence, respect diversity, and embrace dialogue as the most effective means to resolve conflicts.
